I am the founder of SMFT – Slow Movement Fitness Training, a pioneering system that re-maps MI (Movement Intelligence) by integrating nervous system regulation, functional biomechanics, and breath as a training tool. Call it exercise. Call it wellbeing.

I call it a reclamation of the missing piece – and the future of fitness and wellbeing.

We can be fit, and we can be well – beings. Yet as fitness culture has evolved, these two states have often diverged. SMFT is the journey back toward union – a reintegration of strength and sensibility, of power and presence.

It’s the path to becoming a FitBeing.

At its core, SMFT trains the body through the lens of physiology — breath, mobility, and postural mechanics — not merely for performance but for presence, clarity, and adaptability. This is fitness from the inside out:

  • Breath becomes a regulator, not just a recovery cue.
  • Movement patterns align with architecture, not aesthetics.
  • Strength emerges from stabilisation, not force.

Where much of the fitness world is still fixated on output and aesthetics, SMFT points forward — a radical, intelligent alternative rooted in nervous system literacy, longevity, and sustainable vitality. This isn’t following a trend, it’s leading a much needed evolution.

I believe that when interoception leads, everything changes: pain perception, emotional regulation, even self-concept. SMFT is where physiology meets perception — where fitness becomes re-mapping.
